LIMITATION OF LIABILITY –
Although every effort is made to ensure that the mill is in superior condition, neither
the Owners, nor their agents, shall be held responsible for any third party claims,
accidents, damage to or loss of property, or for any expenses incurred for any reason,
including changes caused by Force Majeure, regardless of how they may have occurred,
nor can liability be accepted by the Owners, or their agents, for injury to anyone
as a result of the use of the pool, however caused. Upon arrival at the mill, the
Guest should note the pool rules and regulations that have been posted, a copy of
which is available upon request. Guests are specifically advised not to allow unsupervised
children into the pool.
PAYMENT-
- Payment for your holiday is required in advance, this is split into two parts.
- We require 50% of the total cost to be paid within 10 days of your booking being
made this payment should be made by PayPal secure payment. To facilitate this you
will receive an invoice email follow the instructions to make a secure payment by
credit or debit card. Alternatively you may pay by cheque in the post to Andrew Pocock,
Moulin de Monges, Saux, Montpezat de Quercy, France, 82270 however your booking will
not be secured until the cheque has cleared.
- We require the remaining 50% of the total cost plus £100 Damage Deposit to be paid
no less than 28 days before your booked period in the property commences. Payment
method is as above.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT –
v A Damage Deposit in an amount specified at the time of occupancy, designated by
the Owners at the time of booking shall be provided to the Owners, who shall hold
said Damage Deposit until the premises have been inspected upon the Guest’s departure.
The premises will be inspected both before and at the end of each rental. Once it
is determined that the property is in satisfactory condition, the Damage Deposit,
or the balance thereof, will be returned to the Guest 14 days after the Guest’s departure.
v The Guest is solely responsible for any damage or breakages, beyond reasonable
“wear and tear”, that may be caused to the property and/or to its contents, and also
for any loss of items in the inventory during their stay. Upon arrival, the Guest
should immediately report any damage to the premises to the Owners. Examples of such
damage might include, but are not limited to, broken windows or blinds, burn marks
on counters or furniture, appliance problems, major stains, etc. A “Damage Report”
form may be included in the final paperwork for this purpose.
v The Guest is responsible for the safe return or deposit of the key for the property.
If the key is not returned or is lost, the cost of changing the lock will be deducted
from the Damage Deposit.
v Charges for damages, losses or any maintenance or repairs to the premises, equipment,
amenities or fixtures, or any cleaning services over and above those normally required
to prepare the villa for the next guest which are necessitated by misuse or extraordinary
un-cleanliness, will be at the discretion of the Management Company and will be deducted
from the Damage Deposit.
v If the barbeque grill is used and not cleaned by the Guest prior to departure,
an additional fee may be charged against the Damage Deposit to clean the grill.
v The mill must be left in a clean and tidy condition when you leave failure to ensure
this is the case will result a deduction from the damage deposit for cleaning.
v In the event that any damage or loss is assessed to be in excess of the amount
of Damage Deposit collected, the Guest will be held responsible for full reimbursement
of the outstanding amount and agrees to pay said amount with fourteen (14) days of
written notification of such by the Owners
SWIMMING POOL –
Our pool depth is from around 3 feet to around 6 feet. Our pool is regularly inspected,
cleaned and maintained but may be affected by dust, dirt or insects, particularly
during or after bad weather. The pool is cleaned and chemically balanced every week
for your safety and comfort; however on rare occasions it may be necessary to apply
extra chemical to the pool to maintain safe and correct chemical levels. Should this
occur during your stay it will be necessary for you to be out of the pool for a period
of 12-24 hours for safety reasons.
THE WEATHER: Like you, we have no control over the weather! We are unable to guarantee
the water temperature, as this will depend on the prevailing weather conditions.
COMPLAINTS –
In the unlikely event that you should have a problem with our rental home or its
facilities, please bring this to the attention of the Owners immediately so they
can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue locally. Should you be dissatisfied
with our own booking procedures or administration, please let us know immediately
about the problem so that we can attempt to improve our service. Please note that
none of these provisions affect your statutory rights - your contract with us is
governed solely by English Law and is subject to the jurisdiction of the English
courts.
STRIKES - ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS - WAR - CIVIL AND MILITARY DISORDER - RIOTS
- NATURAL CALAMITIES –
All of the above constitute a “force majeure” and as such, are not the responsibility
of the villa owners. Any additional expenditure borne by the guest(s) and caused
by such conditions will not be reimbursed, nor will any services lost thereby be
recoverable.
